| Players Tour 2001 Schedule of Events | |||||

Mission: The Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association will provide playing opportunities for the TOP junior
golfers in Minnesota and surrounding areas to compete directly against other golfers in ALL age categories.
There will be 4 different series of events and each series will consist of six individual courses they will be
guaranteed to play. These playing opportunities will promote competition and camaraderie. Eligibility: The Players' Tour is an invitational program in which eligibility requirements are determined by the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Committee. It is open to boys and girls ages 12 -19. Juniors who have reached their 19th birthday prior to September 1st, 2001 are eligible only if they have immediately finished their senior year of high school. Invitations were extended to the boys who had a scoring average of 84 or less and girls who had a scoring average of 95 or less in the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association (**scoring averages based on the 2001 Players' Tour and Junior Tour Events). Juniors may also be allowed to enter the Players' Tour based on a personal letter of recommendation from the junior's head club professional. | |||||
